The Call of Shadowclaw

It was a humid midnight in the city of Miami; Roman was sleeping at his master bedroom in his black shorts and a wolf’s tooth necklace with a tiny blue gem. He just got back from an outing with his co-workers and friends about an hour ago and he was exhausted from last night’s hunt. The city streets have been under an eerie and dark reputation by recent murders and grizzly actives by predatory creatures lurking through the dark. As if this night, it was very much quiet for what he expected during his start of his sleep, hoping nothing to interfere. But frankly this peaceful night of rest won’t go as planned.


Right out of the blue came a loud shriek of terror by female pedestrian. “HELP, THERES A FREAK CHASING ME!!! IT KILLED MY ROOMMATE!!!” she shouted in distraught. Roman immediately opens his brown eyes, hopping off the bed and rushing to the window. With the window curtain, he manages to gain view of the scene without having his face exposed. And there it immediately brought shock and goose bumps to what was chasing her. The attacker is truly indeed beyond human and much very monstrous. Its body is humanoid covered in green scales, hind legs, sharp nails, an aquatic spine fin, a reptilian tail, a crocodile shaped snout and yellow eyes with black slit pupils.

“That damn Reptilian!! You just have to provoke me from my sleep!! He growled in frustration. He then looks straight and lifts his wolf’s tooth with his left hand. “If I take it off right in front of here, I’ll end up risking my secret.” He said to himself. “But…I still can’t have another human casualty by these god forsaken predators!” He immediately starts running down through the stairs and then out to the field.

As he made it out in just the right time, the girl gains her view on Roman, running towards him and franticly grabs his arms in her terror-fueled desperation. She long blonde hair, blue eyes and wearing a purple dress and black shoes. “P-please help!!! My friend was m-mauled to d-death!!!” She intensely whimpers. Roman’s sympathetic sense takes took his level to a maximum as he look into the girl’s tear shedding innocence. He holds onto her by wrapping his arms around her and feeling her hair. “You’re going to be alright. I heard everything and I got here.” The reptilian suddenly stops running and slowly approaches to the two with its glowing eyes glaring at them and making a deep under growl.

“Girl.” He said loosening his grasp with the girl and removing his wolf’s tooth necklace. “Hold this for me and get far away from me.” “W-wait, you just going to stand there and get slaughtered!?!?” She franticly shouted.  Roman then slightly bares his teeth in response while feeling the beginning of his change and then his brown eyes turn glowing yellow. “Just go!!” He growled. “You’ll get hurt if you get in the way!!” She slowly backs away and starts heading behind an unfinished fence to hide from the danger.

More has yet to come for the change. With his muscular mass bulking up, he lifts his head with a growling roar and his teeth becoming fangs and his nails into sharp black claws. He looks back to his feral foe with his silky hair now in a rough form; his tan skin tone suddenly changes to gray. “Touch the girl!” he snarls as his feet slowly stretch into the form of the hind legs of a canine. “I! Will! Tear you APART!!!” His long wolf ears slowly started to peak up and his naked tail the same pace. Then as it these come to completion, his black cold nose finally comes into effect and then slowly develops his black body fur. “N-now! You are in some real t-trouble!!!” As he lets out another roar, his face then slowly stretches into a long snout of a wolf. There, his full transformation has complete and the girl who was been witnessing the whole thing behind the fence made her into a state of frozen awe. The werewolf makes a glaring look to his foe and starts extending his claws. “Now. Prepare to earn the last nightmare!”
